Best Mass Gainer in Australia (2026)
Serious calories for serious gains. We rank every mass gainer on the AU market by cost per serve — because a 'cheap' tub with 12 serves rarely beats a bigger bag priced properly.

How we rank mass gainer
Rankings use live prices divided by servings per container. For a fairer comparison across formulas with very different protein content, switch to cost per 100g protein.
What to look for in a mass gainer
- Calories per serve: 500–1200 kcal. Match the serve size to your daily surplus target — you can always half-scoop.
- Protein-to-carb ratio: 1:2 or 1:3 is standard. Higher-carb blends favour post-workout replenishment.
- Carbohydrate source: oats, maltodextrin and waxy maize digest at different rates — waxy maize is easiest on the stomach.
- Added creatine or MCTs: some blends include these; factor the extras in when comparing prices.
Prices are pulled from retailer product pages and updated daily. Out-of-stock listings are excluded from the ranking. Some links are affiliate links — they never affect your price or the order shown.
